The NEW Storybook

Ok everyone, I've decided to try something a bit different and wanted to know what everyone thought. I went ahead and put up a podcast of the very first installment/segment of our storybook here where Jarvis is on the train. The idea hit me the other day and only took a few hours of work to put together.

Let me know: 1) If it is even something you'd want me to keep doing. If there are any objections, I can easily pull the podcast and we can all say,"Eh, nice try Obs...let's stick with keeping the story here only, ok?" 2) If everyone is cool with this, do we keep this more or less to ourselves?

So...that was my fun project as I pushed off contemplating how to tie Zaranda in with the bunch that will be arriving at the Dove in Tajemnica.

I think it's not bad...not necessarily something I need to have, but I'd listen to it. If you want to show it to others, go ahead, I have no objections.

You can choose to play it to people if you want. *smile* It actually makes me kinda proud that you think my writing's good enough to broadcast, along with everyone else's. ^_^

Alrighty then...I'll probably keep going with the podcast...unless the very idea of this makes Spike ill.

Also...I'm not sure if I'll narrate the whole thing or have other people read when there is dialog or have someone else narrate if the segment is from a different point of view. I definitely don't want this to eat up all my free time.

There really isn't any dialog until the first Zaranda segment, so I guess I'll cross that bridge then.

Before I get to that I plan on having the latest Zaranda segment ready this week.

'kay - new Zaranda segment is up! Also...Chapter 1 is now on its second page.

...and I added short profiles on Mr. Oswald and Candlestein.

Wow... you sure are working hard, Obs! Are you sure you're going to have time to keep on top of Storybook and keep creating podcasts at the same time?

Mnes...The story of storybook comes first. If I have any extra time, then I'll do the podcasts. It'll probably lag way behind the actual story. Still hadn't heard if Spike likes the podcast idea or not....and, since I'm still not sure...

Spike...whaddya think of the podcast idea?

Sorry folks, but I've been putting some other irons into the fire - a new blog begun (Myspace just died as far as I'm concerned really) and I'm getting involved as a volunteer in hospital radio.

As far as the podcast goes, I think it could be a good idea, but I'm not likely to use it myself. I just don't seem to get on well with them at all for some reason.

We're getting a lot of background on everything in the story lately...I think I should divide the "lounge" section into several smaller sections soon...

Probably a good idea, Mal to divide things up.

Also, good story segment. Good way of getting the main group out of there. Only need Savv & Ralkin and we've got the whole gang...unless M'bare shows up in Tajemnica?

M'bare isn't due to show up any time soon and I don't intend for her to be a major character.

I'm planning on putting up another story segment this weekend, unless anyone else was already working on something. It probably won't be real lengthy.

There are dragons and zombies and very evil toads falling from the sky.

Scratch that...it's mostly those three walking down a street talking.

Spike...a radio station in a hostpital or the radiology department? Both are cool, but one has way more music than the other, I'm thinking.

For our story here, I have a somewhat interesting plot twist involving Cassius, Candlestein and Mr. Oswald that I've been throwing around in my brain. If I piece it together (the segment, not my brain), it will most likely be today or tomorrow that it is ready. If I can't get it to work...ah, shoot...
